Akide Candy has a story that is belonging to Ottoman period. After the ceremony of service pay distributed by Sultan, if the Kapikulu Soldiers were glad for the service pay in Ottoman Empire, would have served Akide Candy to Sultan. And it would mean that the agreement would continue.
Haci Bekir was one of the confectioners on Ottoman Palace in 1777. And it is one of today’s oldest and famous brands.
